Cuba is a neutered male, approximately 5 year old Presa Canario. Cuba is a very loyal, people pleasing dog who is generally mild mannered and a delight to be around. He is quiet, clean, and protective of his home and people. He is crate-trained. He loves to play with toys, and enjoys absolutely nothing more than a good belly rub. In fact, he'll literally come up to you and throw himself on his back at your feet! Cuba is tolerant of most dogs, and bonds strongly with some. We think he'd be perfectly happy as an only dog, or with a female companion. He would do fine with the right male too, though. Cuba's tail wag is lethal! It packs a good punch and can leave your leg sore if he catches it just right. For this reason, he is not suitable for a home with young children. Cuba has basic training and is crate trained. He is up to date on vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is microchipped and licensed. UPDATE 10/16/14 -- Unfortunately, a mass we had removed from Cuba turned out to be a spindle cell sarcoma, a type of locally invasive, slow growing cancer.
