Skittles is a red heeler, corgi mix (45.2 pounds) with a beautiful orange coat. One of her eyes is brown and the other is almost entirely blue... she gets compliments when were out on walks all the time! Skittles has a bit of an under-bite, so her bottom teeth always show in a funny little grin youll fall in love with. Shes a sweet, loyal girl who loves to cuddle and will stick by your side as much as she can. Even if she happens to be in another part of the house, shell check in regularly to say hello and get some affection. Skittles is great with male dogs and loves to play, but can be a little bit bossy so shed do best as an only dog or with a male companion ONLY. Skittles does well with dogs her size or bigger . She can be growly at first with food and loves her crate so feeding her in her crate is recommended. Skittles knows her name and generally comes immediately when you call her. Shes learned to sit and were now working on other commands which she should pick up quickly as shes a very bright girl. She does well with considerate older children as she still nips like a heeler. As you know Heelers are very smart dogs and Skittles is no exception so when our foster first got her she jumped up she now no longer does this. With a consistant active home Skittles will not only maintain her beautiful looks but she will also love you for the active lifestyle Heelers love. Agility classes might be also be alot of fun for Skittles as they like a job to do! Skittles Would make a great family dog and would do fine as an alone dog. Skittles is spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on her shots and now is just waiting to find her furever home.
