Cocoa Bean and her brother were returned to BARK a little over three years after they were originally adopted. Although we know Cocoa Bean's mom is a Chow/Doberman mix, Cocoa looks a lot like a Golden Retriever, no? Cocoa Bean was adopted with her brother Ying Yang Bean to the same forever home on Saturday, March 19, xxxx! Congratulations! Cocoa Bean is an 8 week old cattle dog/Doberman puppy. Cocoa Bean has been living with his mother and seven siblings for the last month. Cocoa is the only girl in her litter of 8! Cocoa is extremely sweet and definitely the most "people-centered" of the litter. Whenever she is in your arms she just has sends that energy that says "This is where I belong." We are dedicated to making sure that a puppy as precious and beautiful as Cocoa ends up in the perfect loving home where she can be a positive addition to your wonderful life. As for the breed classification: We have the mother, Lima Bean, who has very strong Doberman characteristics, in 45 pound frame. She is one of the sweetest, most passive mothers we've fostered, so outside of the markings and visual characteristics, it would be very easy to list her as something different. Young stray female dogs who become pregnant often times have several mates that they come across during the fertilizing process. Adzuki, Turtle and Cocoa look very much like general Shepherd mixes. Boston and Roman may have some Rottweiler or Shepherd. Calypso, Butter and Ying Yang definitely are some sort of cattle dog. While Lima Bean immediately showed strong signs of being a feral canine, she has made incredible strides over this past month and become a happy and secure domesticated family member. Come and meet Bean this Saturday at the Tucson Petco on Oracle Road and Automall Drive, directly across the street from the Tucson Mall, and next door to Babies R' Us. Cocoa's adoption fee is $50. All of our puppies are up to date on their boosters, already been spayed/neutered and microchipped. BARK can accept cash or debit/credit card as method of payment.
