They should have named me Wiley. I had heard the rumors about the land of squeaky toys and pets on demand, so I hatched a plan. When the kennel volunteers came out on Sunday I turned my nose up at food and gave them my best "I'm so pitiful" look. It worked! Turns out, the rumors were true. Life as a pet is SWEET! I am feeling a little guilty about jumping ahead of the other dogs in the foster home line, so if you could, would you please give them a foster or forever home? They're really nice dogs, just not as cunning as me. Bandit is 2 and does fine with small dogs and cats. FOSTER UPDATE: Bandit is a super sweet, fairly velcro 2 year old, who is quite calm for his age. He would rather be with people than other dogs, but does want to play some with his foster greyhound brother. Bandit is not destructive in the house and is totally house trained. During a recent respite stay, he learned the doggy door in about 2 hours. He has shown no negative interest in the cat, only the usual sniffing and greeting.Bandit is just beginning to learn about toys. He will be a fun and delightful companion for his future adopters. Bandit loves his walks and rides excellently in the car. Bandit has been returned after being in an adoptive home for 3 months. He will do better in a home with adults or older teenage children. He loves to play and run around the yard.
