This cool guitar is a used metallic silver Yamaha RBX170 4-string electric bass guitar. It is in excellent condition - no marks, scratches or other trauma.
The RBX170 is Yamaha' lowest-priced bass guitar and features a solid Agathis body, versatile P/J style electronics.
No doubt that the RBX170 is a great value, but it's a superb instrument, too. Yamaha builds some incredible high-end basses for professional artists as varied as Michael Anthony of Van Halen, Nathan East and John Patitucci and even the RBX benefits from all of Yamaha's experience and expertise. Even me! As the original owner, I have used this bass many times. Not only for recording and studio work, but gigging as well.
